There is a lot of merch featuring wonderful work Hobby has commissioned from other artists available on this store. Where possible, up to 50% of the proceeds from the sale of an item with their art on will go to them, the other 50% will go to Hobby, maybe even to put towards more fantastic commissioned art - You can learn more about the artists that help give The Retro Raccoon its unique vibes on the Credits page of this site!
In Memory of Porthos the Staffy
On March 21st 2025, Hobby & Slow's beloved Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Porthos went over the rainbow bridge to Valinor.
Porthos was a rescue and had lived with Slow and Hobby for 8 1/2 joy and chaos-filled years.
Mr P, as many called him, was much adored by the Retro Raccoon and so, to honour him going forwards, all Hobby's proceeds from the sale of merch themed around him or with his likeness on will be donated to the Leicestershire & Rutland Stray Dog Sanctuary - the stray rehoming center that he was adopted from all those years ago. https://www.buenavistakennels.co.uk/dog-rehoming/
